dirname

Linux Command – dirname ใช้ในแสดงชื่อ directory ของ file ที่วางไว้

คำสั่ง

$ dirname /home/bin/test.txt
/home/bin

โครงสร้างคำสั่ง

 dirname [OPTION] NAME...

รายละเอียด

เป็นคำสั่งที่ใช้แสดงชื่อ directory ของ file ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้ จะทำการตัด tailing slashes ออก และถ้า file อยู่ใน directory ปัจจุบันอยู่แล้ว จะแสดงเป็น “.” ซึ่งหมายถึง current directory

Option

 -z, --zero
 end each output line with NUL, not newline

 --help display this help and exit

 --version
 output version information and exit
